Case Study: Mark’s Return to Running

Mark had always loved running, but a knee injury forced him to stop and left him unsure if he’d ever get back to it. After seeing several physios and other professionals, many recommended surgery, but Mark wanted to try a different approach. When Mark came to me, we focused on strength and conditioning to rebuild the foundations he needed: stability, strength, and confidence in his movement. The results have been outstanding. Within our short time working together, Mark has returned to running pain-free and has gone on to complete two ten-kilometre races less than a month apart. Not only did he stay comfortable throughout, but his second race showed a dramatic improvement in pace and ease compared to the first. Mark is now running better than ever, and together we’re working towards achieving new personal bests.
